those people that are interested, here is the route that we took.

Start Brock
Rd and Kingston Rd.
South on Brock Rd to 401.
401 Eastbound to Mill St exit (just past the 115/35 turn-off).
Mill St South onto Lakeshore.
Lakeshore to Hwy #2.
North on Hwy #2 back onto the 401.
401 Eastbound to Exit 497 ( http://www.thebiggestapple.com
).
South to Hwy #2.
Hwy #2 East to the Junction of Hwy #33 (the Loyalist Parkway).
South on #33 (stopping at Lake on the Mountain and doing the twisties
around the peninsula).
#33 into Kingston (crossing at the Glenora Ferry).
King St into Kingston (past the Olympic Harbour and the Pen).
Crossing over to Wolfe Island via ferry.
Flew along 95 until the other ferry over to Cape Vincent ($5 Cdn).
Along the southern shore of Lake Ontario on Hwy 12E.
Hwy 12E to Interstate 81.
North on Interstate 81 to the 1000 Islands Parkway.
1000 Islands Parkway Westbound.
1000 Islands Parkway onto 401 Westbound.
401 westbound to 32 Regional Rd exit.
South on 32 Regional Rd to Gananoque.
Turn Westbound onto Hwy #2.
Hwy #2 Eastbound into Kingston.
Left downtown
Kingston via a tour of Queen's University.
West on Bath Rd (33) until we met Gardner's Rd (start of 38).
Gardner's Rd North until we came to Verona and the start of 19
(otherwise known as Desert Lake Rd).
Desert Lake Rd into Sydenham.
Regional Rd 5 Eastbound to Regional Rd 10.
South on 10 to 12.
East on 12 until junction with 11.
Regional Rd 11 until end (Jones Falls and a nice stop for lunch).
Backtrack slightly on 11 to Sand Lake Rd.
Sand Lake Rd to Bush Rd.
Bush Rd North to Hwy 15.
Hwy 15 North to Hwy 42 (at Crosby).
West on Hwy 42 to Westport.
Southwest on Regional Rd 12 and then Regional Rd 8 to Hwy 38.
South on Hwy 38 to Regional Rd 5.
East on Regional Rd 5.
North on Regional Rd 10 to Westport.
East on Hwy 42 to Crosby and Hwy 15.
South on Hwy 15 to Chaffey's Locks Rd (number 9).
Followed number 9 all the way in to the locks and our stop for the
day.
Back out number
9 to Hwy 15.
North on Hwy 15 to Crosby (and Hwy 42).
West on 42 to Westport.
Northwest on 36 to Crow Lake Road.
Southwest on Crow Lake Road to Hwy 38.
North on Hwy 38 to Sharbot Lake (junction with Hwy 7).
Slightly West on Hwy 7 to 509.
Followed 509 North / North West to Plevna.
At Plevna South West / West on 506 to 41.

I'm not sure of the way that Gonzo, Stylz, Annie and Granny went,
but I will relay the path that Ron, Dan, Peter, Mumbles and I took.
South on 41
to Kaladar (gas and lunch).
West on Hwy 7 to Hwy 37.
Southwest on Hwy 37 to Belleville.
West on 401 (really bad idea on Labour Day Weekend).
off 401 one exit before Coburg.
South to Hwy #2.
West on Hwy #2 to Port Hope.
Continued West on Lakeshore Blvd to Mill St and 401.
401 Westbound (second try).
401 Westbound to just outside of Oshawa.
Tried some of the parallel roads to the 401.
Just after Oshawa they were blocked by the cops.
Back on 401 and through into Toronto .... once things separated
into Express and Collectors it was good travelling and the DVP was
decent for a change.
